Georges Bock has been chosen by the KPMG Luxembourg Partnership to succeed Karin Riehl as Managing Partner of KPMG Luxembourg. This appointment will be effective from October 1, 2012.
Georges Bock is Luxembourgish and a Luxembourg Réviseur d’Entreprises, Conseil Economique and Expert Comptable. He has been a Partner with the Firm for 12 years. His field of specialization is Financial Services. He started with KPMG in 1991 as auditor. In 1994, he moved to our Tax department which he has been successful in leading since 2009. He has been the Global Chairman of the KPMG Funds Tax Network since 2007 and in this capacity was in charge of defining the Investment Management Strategy of the EU Tax practice.
During his career, he has contributed to different professional organizations and is currently an ALFI board member. He speaks Luxembourgish, German, English and French. Georges said : “Luxembourg is at a cross-road. Important decisions for the country have to be prepared and taken. It is challenging to take over the ship in such times.
