Mission:

• Maintain/monitor the health of the Linux servers through both automated and manual processes.
• Participate in the on-call rotation
• Resolve escalated tickets
• Assist service desk and field techs
• Proactively design solutions for a better client experience
• Implement & troubleshoot Linux/Docker/Kubernetes environments
• Maintain software repositories and apply software updates;
• Install, configure, and maintain servers in a mixed Windows and Linux environment;
• administration of virtual environments Vmware
• Install equipment and application software
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware
• Plan, structure, and implement migrations and other projects while directing lower-level techs
• Fully document all procedures and tasks, and create documentation for lower-level techs
• Provide a high level of technical assistance and support to Service Desk
• Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
• Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
• Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
• Maintain client and company documentation

Profile:

You have at least 5 years’ experience in administration / Unix operating production environments, AIX, and you have good knowledge of:

• Scripting, Shell, Bash or Python
• RedHat, CentOS, SUSE Linux
• Veeam backup, Ansible, DB and Scheduler
• Switch Cisco (IOS)
• Networking TCPIP, DNS, NTP, NFS, routing statique
• Firewalls and VPNs IPsec
• NGINX, SQUID, APACHE, HAproxy, LDAP.
• You speak Fluent English and French
