Today, System Solutions Luxembourg is looking for a Cybersecurity & Network Consultant (M/F)
As Cybersecurity & Network Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in both enhancing our internal security infrastructure and providing top-tier consulting services to our clients. We are particularly seeking expertise in Cloud Security, with a focus on Azure.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Network & Security platforms based on architectural designs, with a strong emphasis on secure cloud operations on Azure.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through the secure migration of their production environments.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot a range of network and security infrastructure devices, leveraging your knowledge to provide practical solutions for our clients.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by sharing your expertise through hands-on workshops, benefiting both our internal team and our clients.
- Collaborate closely with our IT Network & Security Architect, providing valuable feedback from both internal projects and client engagements.
- Conduct regular technology watch, staying updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and countermeasures.
- Act as a liaison between the clients and the internal team, ensuring clear communication and effective execution of projects.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Min. 3 years of experience in Networking and Security, preferably within an ICT services provider.
- Prior consulting experience in a customer-facing role.
- Expertise in Azure Cloud Security and other major network vendors such as Aruba, Cisco, etc.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (IPsec, OSPF, 802.1X, VLANs, LACP, Lag/MC-Lag, VRF, etc.).
- Proficiency in the OSI or TCP/IP model.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security solutions including UTM, NGFW, Firewalls (Fortinet and Sophos), HTTP/S Inspection, Application Control, WAF, IDS/IPS, Mail Security GateWay, Web protection, EndPoint Security: Antivirus, EDR, and authentication services.
- Understanding of SD-WAN, CASB, SASE is a plus.
- Networking/Security certification will be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles.

- Experience working within a project management framework.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong client relationships.
- Effective presentation skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Fluent in French and English. German or Luxembourgish are assets.
