Geert Rottier has been named Managing Director and Country Manager Enterprise Group for HP Belgium and Luxembourg. Geert Rottier is the successor of Eric Van Bael, who recently has been promoted to VP EMEA Commercial & Public Sector.

“We are very pleased that Geert Rottier will lead HP in Belgium and Luxembourg, two important markets for the company, Hans Daniels, VP Enterprise Group and Managing Director HP General Western Europe said. Our strategy is to support our customers and partners on their journey to the “New Style of IT”, leveraging our portfolio for important trends on Big Data, Security, Mobility and Cloud. After his previous roles he will add exactly that experience to our local leadership team.”

Geert has been with HP for 15 years, previously ran the Enterprise Group and currently oversees the accounts in the commercial and public sector. Prior to joining HP, Geert has built a 10 year track record in start-up like environments. This experience is still the source of his passion to help clients, government institutions and partners apply innovation as a key source for business success. Geert has held sales, consulting and marketing positions at Filepool (acquired by EMC) and Prolin (acquired by HP in 1997).
