NextiraOne is very pleased to announce that Thibault Mean, NextiraOne Data Center Engineer, has successfully passed the Cisco CCIE ‘Routing & Switching’ exam.
This accolade is seen as the most prestigious networking certification in our industry. “This certification reflects our commitment to provide a high quality level of services to our customers, through training and update of our employees skills, NextiraOne Luxembourg explained. Thibault’s achievement brings the total number of CCIE certificates within NextiraOne Luxembourg, a Cisco Gold partner, to three. Paul Carvill, CTO, currently holds CCIE ‘Routing & Switching’ and ‘Service Provider’.”
“After several months of study I successfully passed the Cisco CCIE R&S (Routing and Switching) 8 hours practical lab exam, Thibault Mean (in picture) said. It was all made possible with some hard work, a good strategy and thanks to the great variety of technologies I have covered while working on projects at NextiraOne. Pride comes from the fact that Cisco describes this certification as “The most prestigious networking certification in the Industry”, R&S is one of the most popular CCIE tracks and also one of the most difficult.
CCIE holders represent only 3% of the Cisco certified professionals and less than 1% of the networking professionals worldwide. The CCIE R&S practical lab exam aims at covering in detail a wide range of technologies e.g: L2, L3, MPLS, OER/PFR, QoS, security, network management,… From the experience I gained working for NextiraOne over the past 3 years, I can tell this certification covers most of the customer needs in ‘DATA networking’.”
