In times of increasing data scandals and misuse of critical business information, UniCredit Luxembourg S.A. decided to use the Brainloop Secure Dataroom to share documents relating to confidential projects. Along with company staff, the group invites certain external consultants and advisors to collaborate in the data room. This enables them to protect and circulate confidential content between the various parties, independently of the bank’s infrastructure, and provides secure, efficient and traceable communications.

Peter Weger, CEO of Brainloop, comments: “We’re pleased to be able to count UniCredit Luxembourg S.A. among our customers. The Brainloop Secure Dataroom is the ideal platform for them to share sensitive information within the bank and with external specialists. It makes decision-making processes more efficient, which in turn benefits the bank’s customers over the long term. It also fulfills key compliance regulations as it provides complete, tamper-proof logging of every access to the data room – from document creation to archiving or deletion.”

The Document Compliance Management solution Brainloop Secure Dataroom protects confidential content while simultaneously recording every action undertaken during the modification, distribution, and storage of documents. The Brainloop Secure Dataroom runs on dedicated servers located in Luxembourg and in Switzerland. In this way, Brainloop is responding to the stringent national security requirements of banks, insurance companies, and other enterprises that need to ensure the best possible protection for data they share within their own country.
