Neptuny, a leading provider of performance optimization solutions for IT and Digital Media today announced that it has become a member of the HP Developer & Solution Partner Program (DSPP) and the HP Partner Virtualization Program (PVP), part of the HP Developer and Solution Partner Program (DSPP).

The DSPP is designed to enable independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, developers and consultants to work collaboratively to more effectively address customer needs. “The PVP’s flexible approach and customized testing environment will help us in the development of our solutions and enable us to bring them to market more quickly,” says Giuseppe Nardiello business development manager at Neptuny. “Being able to test our applications in a virtualized environment means that we will be able to provide customers not only with better solutions based on HP platforms, but more value for money.”

“As a member of the DSPP we will be able to leverage sales, marketing and technical resources and improve our ability to provide leading optimization solutions to our customers” says Neptuny consulting manager Paolo Bozzola. “Getting access to resources that will help us to develop, market and to support our solutions using HP products and services is a major benefit for us.”

As a member of these programs, Neptuny will work closely with HP to leverage the necessary resources, experience and knowledge to deliver tailor-made solutions that drive better business value.

Neptuny Caplan is the business-aware Capacity Planning solution for large data centers and networks. Caplan enables a holistic, structured and automated Capacity Management process aligned to ITIL best practices. It supports physical and virtual servers, databases, networks, storage and facilities, while requiring a minimum operational effort, thanks to its agent-less architecture, high level of automation and proactive forecasting. Caplan provides out-of-the box connectors to most widespread management platforms, in particular to HP BTO products, such as HP Operations Manager, HP Business Availability Center, HP Performance Center and HP Universal CMDB.

Customer installations in companies belonging to different industries such as the Telco, Banking and Insurance are still evidence of Caplan value for businesses. Caplan success has already been announced by the Butler Group: in a recent Technology Audit it deemed Caplan as “the future in Capacity Planning.”
