Fewer than ten percent of top-managers are really confident about the precision and the verity of intelligence that leads them into making critical decisions.

In answer to this vital problem, Sybase, Inc. , the largest enterprise software and services company exclusively focused on managing and mobilizing information, introduces its innovative platform, Sybase Business Intelligence Process Management (BI-PM), in a worldwide premiere.

Sybase has revealed it’s BI-PM Vision at the “Espace Moselle” in Brussels. The conference program consists of groundbreaking presentations and testimonials from leading experts. They will tackle fundamental questions such as: guaranteeing a flawless production of BI-reports; checking data in reports; how do incorrect data influence the quality of decisions?

During the conference, Sybase will present the business community with a way to manage the logistical process of a Business Intelligence environment. The solution is called Sybase BI-PM and it establishes intelligent links between technical, business and operational metadata in a heterogeneous environment.

Philippe Vaessen, Sybase’s Belgian Country Manager: “Trust and transparency go hand in hand. Without a crystal-clear view on the process of extracting valuable information from raw data, doubts should arise about the accuracy and completeness of strategic information. This kind of Business Intelligence reports and Key Performance Indicators are the foundation upon which tactical and consequential choices are, or should be, based. The need for a consistent metadata management is crucial for uncovering vital procedures and for… regaining control of your operation.”

Key note speakers and referents at the conference will be Bloor’s Philip Howard, Deloitte’s Tanguy Swinnen, Mire Consulting’s Ivan Schotsmans and several Sybase specialists.
