In 2015, Fujitsu Belgium launched the Fujitsu Experience Tour, a sales incentive for its channel partners. Between September 2015 and March 2016, the Fujitsu partners could earn a seat by gathering Experience Points on the Fujitsu Experience Tour to South Africa between 16 and 21 May 2016.
During the Experience Tour, Fujitsu and her partners launched a social action to the benefit ofThe Little Rose Centre. This organization provides day care services for vulnerable children in Kliptown, Soweto, South Africa. Fujitsu South Africa recently supported this institution by supplying the Centre with free ICT equipment for educational purpose.
As The Little Rose Centre depends entirely on donations, Fujitsu Belgium decided to collect funds prior to the Experience Tour: Belgian employees and partners had the opportunity to make a donation. On May 21st 2016, Fujitsu Belgium and the 16 channel partners handed over the contribution to The Little Rose Centre. The Belgian Ambassador in South Africa, Hubert Cooreman, attended Fujitsu’s visit in Soweto.
“Fujitsu makes it an honour-cause to always associate Corporate Social Responsibility in its actions. When the Belgian branch decided, a year ago, to launch their partners’ incentive campaign in South Africa, it was clear that they would include a social cause in the program” explained Yves de Beauregard, the Managing Director of Fujitsu.
Fujitsu’s Corporate Social Responsablity program covers 5 main areas : Environment, Community involvement, Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing and Operating practices.
