Silicon Luxembourg and POST Telecom Launch the First Interactive Luxembourg Start-up Map.

With the support of POST Telecom, Silicon Luxembourg, the first web-based media that profiles and promotes start-ups and entrepreneurial activity in Luxembourg, has built the first interactive map to promote the start-up ecosystem within the Grand Duchy and abroad.

“I had the idea to produce such a map since the very beginning of Silicon Luxembourg, and I’m glad it has finally come to fruition.” said Charles-Louis Machuron, the founder of Silicon Luxembourg. “Each country or large city has its own map, so it was time to have ours.”

Recently, both the public and private sectors in Luxembourg have made considerable strides to increase support for start-ups through various initiatives. This has led to noteworthy growth in entrepreneurial activity, including the creation of numerous ventures, business incubators and funding opportunities. Silicon Luxembourg felt that it was time to put together a single interactive map that provided information for all interested parties about the Luxembourg start-up ecosystem.

“The goal is to always ensure that the interactive map contains all the start-ups and start-up-related businesses and organizations. Thus, we need everyone’s help to keep the map fresh and up to date,” noted Machuron. “We hope everyone will enjoy exploring the Luxembourgish start-up ecosystem using the interactive map.”
