Dimension Data,  the US$ 7.5 billion global solutions and services provider, today announced that it has earned a place in the annual ranking list of leading publication CIOReview as one of the 20 Most Promising IT Infrastructure Solution Providers 2016.

“Dimension Data is on a mission to be the global Managed Services Provider of choice for end-to-end, cloud-based enterprise applications and workloads,” said Jeevan George, Managing Editor of CIOReview. “Today, we are happy to announce Dimension Data as one among the 20 Most Promising IT Infrastructure Solution Providers 2016.”

As Enterprise IT organisations reassess their business strategies based on an increasingly digital world, Dimension Data has been guiding its clients’ digital transformation journeys by supporting their existing on-premises workloads and environments, as well as helping them transition to a new hybrid environment through a services-led approach.

“We see our clients wanting to embrace new business strategies for an increasingly digital world, with CIOs and Enterprise IT organisations leading their transformation to hybrid IT,” said Gerard Florian, Chief Strategy Officer for Dimension Data’s ITaaS Service Unit. “A hybrid IT approach enables organisations to be more flexible, agile, and find ways to deliver new applications and solutions much quicker, and also be more responsive.”

Dimension Data empowers its clients with multiple service offerings and managed services choices spanning application services, networking, data centres, security, backup and disaster recovery, outsourcing and hosting, along with a full complement of consulting and professional services.

While the company’s vision is positioned around a complementary portfolio of managed services that centres around Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), cloud is at the core and driving digital transformation.

“Our approach is supported by a number of application centric, managed services plays,” said Florian.

“No matter where our client is on their digital transformation journey, the moment they engage with Dimension Data and our services-led approach, we become their trusted guide to hybrid IT.”
