ArcelorMittal has launched a brand new website for Luxembourg at luxembourg.arcelormittal.com

The website includes an overview of the main facilities in the country as well as information about ArcelorMittal’s engagement as a responsible corporate citizen. It also includes exciting stories about the latest product innovations, local news and press releases as well as information for those interested in exploring job opportunities with the company.

Not only does ArcelorMittal have its headquarters and main administration offices in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, it also runs various steelmaking operations in the country, represented by16 different sites and units throughout Luxembourg. Steel production facilities include long, flat and wire products. ArcelorMittal also owns a research and development (R&D) centre in Esch-sur-Alzette, designed for research in long products. ArcelorMittal Luxembourg is a top producer of long products such as heavy beams and steel sheet piles that provide innovative solutions at its largest sites in Belval and Differdange. In 2012 ArcelorMittal announced an investment plan of €150m until 2016 to secure the future of steelmaking in Luxembourg.

The website offers a fascinating insight to what the group is contributing to the steel industry in Luxembourg today. “The focus on our higher value added products, our continuous R&D efforts for automotive and construction steels – combined with excellent customer services – will enable us to keep and extend our leading position in the country”, comments Michel Wurth, member of the Group Management Board at ArcelorMittal.
