Luxembourg: April 20, 2022 – Accenture Luxembourg rang in 2022 by welcoming their employees into a brand-new shared office space in Findel. Located in the Galileo building, the office space does not only offer great views, it also meets the needs of employees in the pandemic era, enabling them to be healthy and productive, regardless of where they work.

The induction of the new workplace also marks the merging of the two Accenture Luxembourg offices, with its acquisition Orbium (part of Accenture Wealth Management). The recent new colleagues from Linkbynet (Data Essential in Luxembourg) who have their office in Capellen, will be welcome and regular visitors.

Moving towards an Innovative and Sustainable Future

Relocating to the Galileo building in Findel was a conscientious decision from Accenture Luxembourg, as the district is expected to become one of Luxembourg’s most innovative and future proof business sites. This was an important factor in the decision to relocate. Soon, employees will witness the creation of the new “Airport City” called Skypark Business Centre South. The site is expected to become the reference when it comes to sustainable business spaces, and will also include shops, restaurants, a fitness centre, and kindergarten facilities.

Furthermore, moving into the Galileo building was a no-brainer as it embodies Accenture’s environmental and social responsibility standards by adhering to the latest sustainability norms with a Level B Energy Pass, solar panels, rainwater recuperation and smart waste management.

With the move to Findel and the merging of the two Luxembourg offices, the Accenture teams can connect and grow together as One Accenture Luxembourg. Warm and cosy, smart and future-oriented, it embodies our inclusive culture and values, and our shared vision and ambition for the future: to be an innovative and truly human professional services company,” says Martin Wolfram, Country Managing Director at Accenture Luxembourg.

People at the heart of the story

The workplace provides three distinct types of spaces to meet all working needs, developed based on ideas and needs shared by employees:

  1. ME SPACES, for work that requires focus, include both shared and individual work settings along with enclosed phone booths that provide privacy.
  2. For people to meet and co-create, WE SPACES encourage collaboration and create fresh synergies.
  3. Carefully conceived to create the warm and cosy atmosphere that Accenture Luxembourg is known for, at US SPACES, employees can meet with colleagues for casual conversations and share ideas over a coffee or a snack.

The recent pandemic and lockdowns have shown us that we need different ways of working, and this is exactly what our new office space provides. It’s a 21st century workplace that enables flexibility, creativity and collaboration – a setting where people can be themselves, be empowered to do their best work and connect with colleagues to make great things happen,” shares Martin Wolfram.

Redefining innovation in the Liquid Studio

This “phygital” world will bring new challenges and opportunities for business and society. Accenture’s role is to combine innovation, technology, and human ingenuity to bring fresh and relevant solutions to business problems. To do this, there is no better place than an inspiring place featuring the latest technology and collaboration tools to make innovation happen.

“Over the past years, Accenture has deployed a global network of Liquid Studios,” says Martin Wolfram, “after the opening of the Liquid Studio in Brussels, we are very excited by this new addition to the network here, in Luxembourg.  This hub to the Belux Liquid Studio is both a physical space and an ensemble of diverse talents. It is where clients, ecosystem partners, and Accenture people will pitch joint solutions as one team, starting from real business challenges and delivering tangible outcomes within a short space of time.”

This hub to the Belux Liquid Studio focuses on emerging technologies or new combinations of existing technologies to innovate solutions. After just a few weeks of prototyping, we can arrive at a Proof of Concept that people can see and test, followed by Minimal Viable Product (MVP) and Scaling. And it’s right here in Luxembourg, at the heart of Europe.
