Job Description

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to bolster our Cloud Services team. If you’re passionate about designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft cloud solutions to meet our clients’ business needs while enjoying a vibrant work culture, then you’re in the right place!

The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in Microsoft Office 365, and related migration technologies, along with a strong background in infrastructure and systems architecture.

You will actively collaborate with our team and customers to contribute to a variety of projects. Here’s what your day-to-day would look like:

• Design Cloud Architectures: Design and implement robust, scalable cloud architectures on the Microsoft 365 platform, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune and Microsoft Defender.
• Collaborative Solution Building: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing (on-premises) infrastructure and applications. Design and implement an MDM solution like Microsoft Intune to manage Devices, applications deployment and configuration profile.
• Migration Mastery: Design and migrate Email and Collaboration platform to Office 365 environment, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal performance (example: migrate a domino platform to Exchange online solution)
• Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards in the deployment of cloud solutions using tools like Microsoft Defender, Multifactor Authentication, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Information Protection.
• Automation Aficionado: Develop automation scripts and templates for streamlined provisioning and management of Microsoft 365 resources, leveraging PowerShell and other automation tools.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Set up monitoring solutions to identify and address performance issues before they impact operations.
• Team Player: Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Documentation Dynamo: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud solutions, configurations, and procedures, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all team members.

Qualifications

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

• Experience: from 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft technologies, with a focus on Microsoft 365, including requirements definitions and a knack for architectural writings. Experience with hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud solutions. Presale activities will be considered as an asset.
• Expertise / Skills: Proven track record as a Cloud Engineer, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, networking, security, and identity management. Strong proficiency in scripting and automation tools, particularly PowerShell. Experience with software deployment, patch management and endpoint management using SCCM is an asset.
• Certifications: Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Microsoft 365 Administrator and Architect, Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are a highly recommended!
• Language: Fluency in English and French are both mandatory , with proficiency in any other language considered an asset.
• Attitude: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. A naturally open-minded approach, with a passion for knowledge sharing, team support, and continuous learning.
