Job Description

The Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) represents over 150 banks and professionals of the financial sector promoting the sustainable development of regulated, innovative and responsible banking services in Luxembourg.

We are currently recruiting: an adviser for Digital Banking and Payments (m/f).

Your mission

• Provide technological and regulatory watch on payments and digital banking
• Identify key issues and provide strategic support to our members on topics related to payments, digitalisation and innovation in financial services
• Facilitate and coordinate ABBL working groups
• Represent the ABBL in European and Luxembourg working groups
• Propose amendments to legislative and regulatory texts
• Participate in the day-to-day and operational tasks of the team

Your profile

• A Bachelor or a Master ’s degree in IT Sciences, Finance or similar
• First working experience in payments and/or banking technologies
• Good knowledge of payments (SEPA SCT, SCTinst, SDD, mobile payment, etc), market infrastructure (Target2, SWIFT), current SEPA rulebooks and regulated frameworks
• Basic knowledge of cyber security
• Interest in new technologies and open banking
• Excellent analytical and writing skills
• Fluency in English and French
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate
• Proactive, rigorous and able to work autonomously
• Good command of standard Office software
