The explosion of data volumes has created a need for a new solution to access and digest huge amounts of data without importing from diverse sources. We will explore whether data mesh can provide this solution and whether it will make data warehouses and data lakes obsolete, replacing all central data governance and management systems.
During the evening, we will be discussing some of the burning questions surrounding data mesh, such as whether it is still in its infancy or if it is a mature data architecture solution. We will also examine operational use cases to determine if data mesh can deliver on its promises of speed, ease of access, and data quality.
