Dimension Data – Cisco ISE fully booked workshop brings discussions on a very high technical level
The next workshop will take place on 17 May and registrations are now open.
March 27, 2017
The ISE (Identity Services Engine) workshop connected Cisco TAC (Technical Assistance Centre) experts, Dimension Data’s engineers and top IT Managers to exchange about best practices and the way to troubleshoot the ISE.
As described by one of the attending IT Managers, this was the “best technical workshop organised in Luxembourg since years”. It allowed the attendees to share experience including a hands-on session during which all capacity and functionalities of ISE could be tested.
ISE is a security solution allowing visibility on the network logs, automation of network reaction, and the possibility to adapt the behaviour of the network in relation of the person connecting.
Frederic Lavend’Homme explains ”Starting from the ISE control tower we will extend this platform to add other security applications such as Trustsec and Stealthwatch which could integrate directly into the network. Next we will see how we can add policies directly into the network (with trustSec) and then how to extend the solution to security analytics (with Stealthwatch). This enables the network to become the sensor and detect attacks and abnormal behaviour to take corrective action and therefore, increase the level of control. As we have installed and are currently maintaining about 80% of all Cisco ISE solution in Luxembourg, our team of experts have addressed many business cases and types of scenarios. We will be happy to share our experience”.
The next workshop will take place on 17 May and registrations are now open.
