Are you interested by test automation? You want to automate your tests, and you’re not quite sure how to get started? So, this workshop is for you!

q-leap will present you a practical case in test automation on web application with the
use of Behavior Driven Development (a software development methodology) using Selenium
and Cucumber tools.

During this session, we will:

• Show you how to get started with Selenium, an amazing and very mature software
  testing framework for creating test automation scripts.
• Show you how to enhance the original script to be a re-usable part of a test
  automation harness.
• Show you how to deal with the technical aspects of “Behaviour Driven Development”
  (BDD) with Cucumber, a test-driven development technique, really good to
  map stories and acceptance criteria to automated functional tests.

Audience: Workshop suitable for both beginners and people experienced in test
automation.
Speaker: Christian Baumann an experienced software tester for several years now. He
presents very strong technical & testing skills, enabling him to successfully play key roles such
as Project Manager and Team Leader for complex software test projects, using tools and
methodologies as they´re fitting best to the project requirements. In this workshop, he will
share his experience of test automation by providing a concrete example of one of q-leap’s
project.
