Raphaël VINOT (Security researcher and operator at CIRCL):

“Currently working as a CIRCL Operator since October 2012, Raphaël is a former student at the French/German school ISFATES/DFHI. His main occupation at CIRCL is to handle IT security incidents and develop tools to help his colleagues and he be more effective in their day-to-day job.
CIRCL (Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg) is a government-driven initiative designed to gather, review, report and respond to computer security threats and incidents.”

Philippe CATUREGLI (Founder of SERALYS – Security researcher):

“Philippe is the founder of Seralys company which provides advisory and consulting services in the domain of information security. Philippe is a Pen-tester and Security researcher who has discovered and published several security vulnerabilities in leading products including Cisco, Symantec and Hewlett-Packard. Before founding Seralys, Philippe held a Senior Manager position within Deloitte Luxembourg Information & Technology Risk department and held several roles within the IT security department of a global pharmaceutical company in UK.
During the conference, Philippe will explain with a risk point of view TLS (Transport Layer Security) and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocols that are used to provide data encryption and authentication between applications and servers in particular to protect data sent across the Internet.”
