Sophis, a provider of cross-asset, front-to-back portfolio and risk management solutions, today announced that it has appointed René Flor as its new area sales director for Switzerland and Luxembourg. René has 15 years’ experience of the investment management industry, especially in the areas of wealth and asset management, investment compliance and risk management.

René joins Sophis from Odyssey Financial Technologies, where he was in charge of new business for Southern Europe. Previous roles include director of international sales for software solution company Aquin Components; CEO of YoPASS AG; managing director of Global WebTrade; and management partner at Consultec.

René was educated at the University of Applied Science in Frankfurt.
