Masterclasses: What to look out for?

This year, Golden-i introduces something new: masterclasses. Here’s a closer look.

April 30, 2026

At Golden-i on May 21, for the first time, three companies have accepted the challenge of unpacking three key topics for a select audience of 100 senior professionals (end-users only). Their brief is to bring something new, educate, and engage. These sessions will not be product presentations, but interactive workshops designed to involve the audience as much as the speakers.

The common thread across all the sessions is, AI. From the front end and how we interact with it, the data layer, how it works, what the risks are and what sovereignty really means. We will also question how organisations can gain maximum value while being transformed by it and we cannot forget the human factor; how can we ensure that humans and AI have a win-win outcome.

With all AI conversations, our thoughts quickly move to LLMs. In fact, your LLM may already know more about you and your organisation than you realise. Recent studies suggest that more than half of users have shared sensitive work data with these tools. But the masterclasses will dig far deeper, designed with CIOs, CTOs and business leaders in mind.

For those of us who have worked in tech for a while we know that AI is an extension of the digital transformation that was already well under way. Many digital transformation leaders have already mapped their organisations and processes, but there are new tough questions about which processes should be executed by AI, and which by automation because if the creation of an AI tool is going to be several million, the CFO wants to know when they will see the return on investment.
