Virginie Benitez joins EY Luxembourg as HR Director, a true boomerang. Her return reflects not only her strong connection to EY, but also a shared ambition to shape the future with confidence.

With more than 25 years of international HR experience, including over 20 years within global professional services firms, Virginie has partnered with executive and senior leadership teams across Europe, the Middle East and Asia‑Pacific, aligning people strategies with business priorities in complex, multi‑country environments.

She built part of her career at EY Luxembourg, where she served successively as Head of Learning & Development and Head of HR Business Partnering, before continuing her career with a leading international law firm, including global roles in the UAE and Luxembourg.

Virginie returns to EY bringing a rich international background and deep expertise in high‑performing professional services environments. Her experience spans international HR strategy, workforce planning, capability building, leadership development, engagement, mobility, talent development and organizational design. She has led large‑scale global upskilling initiatives and leadership development programs, contributed to international career frameworks, and driven talent acquisition with a particular focus on lateral hiring and senior onboarding — consistently positioning HR as a driver of performance, transformation and long‑term competitiveness.

“Virginie’s return to EY Luxembourg is a meaningful moment for our firm. It reflects the strength of the relationships we build with our people, even beyond the time they spend with us. We are very pleased to welcome her back and to benefit from the depth of experience and perspective she brings to this new role.” says Alban Aubrée, Country Managing Partner at EY Luxembourg

In her role, Virginie will focus on strengthening the skills and capabilities EY needs for the future, working closely with the HR team to support EY’s growth agenda and transformation priorities, while supporting leaders across the firm.

Virginie holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development and a degree from Sciences Po Grenoble. She speaks French, English and Spanish.

EY Luxembourg is proud to strengthen its service lines, in alignment with the strategic direction previously shared. This evolution reflects EY’s commitment to continuous growth, innovation, and client-centric transformation. By investing in managed services, digital capabilities, and strategic advisory, EY is reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in the Luxembourg market.
