DomainInformer has just rewarded EuroDNS Best Domain Registrar in its annual awards competition, thus recognizing and honoring the company’s outstanding performance in 2008.

“It is our pleasure to recognize the outstanding performance of EuroDNS this year, making it our top choice for the Best Domain Registrar of 2008,” said Darren Tabor, CEO of DevStart, Inc. For the third consecutive year, DomainInformer gave special recognition to domain name companies that are prominent and excel in their business sector. Since 2006 the DomainInformer Annual Awards have grown to be one of the most prestigious internet marketing awards of its kind. Xavier Buck, CEO of EuroDNS comments, “We are really proud to receive this award and it symbolizes all our ongoing efforts to offer best services, package diversity, customer support and feedback, new products and services. Our Customer Care team has grown stronger the last year, and our major focus has been on the development of innovative new services as well as a greater diversity in our offering”.

In less than six years, EuroDNS has become one of the top European Registrars with a steady growth in domain names’ registrations and one of the biggest portfolios of domain names under management, a success due in part to its highly successful “one-stop-shop” strategy which allows customers to consolidate their portfolio both in Europe (.EU, .FR…) Asia (.KR, .CN) and worldwide (.Com, .Mobi…)
under one roof. This combination proved to be highly successful last year in the recent opening of the .Asia extension where EuroDNS was the Registrar submitting the most domain names at an International level. EuroDNS has also recently championed the CO.NL project, a full-fledged vehicle partnering with leading
providers in Europe to bring alternative registration opportunities in the Dutch market, currently already serving 35 of the world top Registrars.

Luxembourg based, EuroDNS is currently at the heart of a new legislation that states a 80% tax exemption for all revenues directly generated by domain names. Xavier Buck explains, “The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is the first European Member State to offer an investor-friendly legal environment for Domain Names and the possibility to secure and optimise fiscally all assets generated by domains”. This year’s winners stood out among an increasing number of high-quality companies, and represented
the leaders in the domain name industry and the best online marketplaces for buying and selling domain names.
