The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg (CSWL) 2025 culminated with the Gala & Awards Night, celebrating outstanding achievements and talents shaping Luxembourg’s cybersecurity landscape. Held as the grand finale of a year-long national campaign led by the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity (LHC), the event brought together professionals, innovators, and decision-makers to honor excellence across four distinguished categories.

• Most Promising Young Talent: Team Luxembourg @European Cybersecurity Challenge 2025

Recognised for exceptional potential, creativity, and contribution to the cybersecurity community at an early career stage. After an initial selection phase, the top-10 cybersecurity talents flew to Poland to represent Luxembourg at the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2025.

• Cybersecurity Innovation Award:  PanIAM

Awarded for innovative solutions and practices that strengthen Luxembourg’s digital resilience and global reputation, PanIAM is a next-generation CNAPP that unifies risk visibility through proven, proprietary security technology – customized to your specific threat landscape and business objectives. PanIAM will benefit from the support and acceleration programmes offered by the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity (LUCYA) and Wavestone.

Exceptionally this year, the jury has chosen to also recognise, by giving its « Coup de Coeur » mention to Data Design Engineering, a company delivering data-driven AI solutions and services that leverage customized AI and deep expertise in data technologies – demonstrating strong applicability and proven value in strengthening cybersecurity.

• DPO of the Year: Pasquale Esposito, DPO at Grant Thornton

The CSWL Gala & Awards Night highlights Luxembourg’s commitment to fostering innovation, nurturing young talent, and strengthening cross-sector collaboration. Each award reflects the dedication of professionals who contribute daily to safeguarding digital trust at both national and international levels.

Launch of the Luxembourg Cybersecurity Factory – a movement towards strategic autonomy & trust

A 4-engine powered factory (Data Space, AI Hub, Open Source Communities, Quantum Lab) aiming at building an open cybersecurity data economy by fostering open and trusted cyber commons.

This flagship project is part of Luxembourg’s Data/AI/Quantum Strategies, and relies on the following 3 pillars:

1. Develop AI models to increase effectiveness in gathering and contextualising of threat intelligence;

2. Strengthening governance, risk management and compliance by and related to the adoption of AI technologies (also for SMEs);

3. Managing and testing inherent vulnerabilities of AI systems and helping the private sector to mitigate the quantum threat.
