Greg Spicer, Cloud Business Unit Senior Cloud Architect for Dimension Data, will present at EuroCloud Congress 2013 taking place October 15-16 at the Chambre de Commerce in Luxembourg. The two-day conference will serve as a platform for the European cloud industry to examine the role that political, industrial and economic policy can play in cloud’s successful growth and global impact.

Greg Spicer will present the keynote session entitled “Five Practical Guidelines for Evaluating Public Cloud SLAs” to be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 3:45 p.m. CET in Room C1. Throughout his keynote, Spicer will present the practical guidelines for evaluating a cloud provider’s SLAs to help cloud buyers attending the conference to select a cloud solution that aligns with their business and application requirements.

“Although often hard to define and enforce, SLAs are a major consideration of cloud buyers and are critical to help organisations gain confidence in the performance of the cloud for business-critical applications,” said Greg Spicer. “Our aim is to provide attendees with the necessary knowledge for selecting the cloud provider and SLAs that are right for their business.”

Dimension Data will also exhibit at the conference to counsel attendees on how to progress their business’s cloud journey by leveraging an enterprise-cloud that is secure, scalable, reliable and simple to integrate with existing systems on a global basis.
