Dell’s commitment to helping customers across the world to Simplify their IT infrastructures continues today as the global Future of Computing Tour rolls into town. Bringing together Dell subject matter experts, alliance partners including Intel and Microsoft, this event will provide customers with insight into how to achieve cost and complexity reductions, to allow them to invest more time, money and people into innovation rather than maintenance. Simplifying IT enables customers to realize the Future of Computing.
The gathered delegates will discuss current and future technologies that address critical customer issues. Key technology areas for discussion will include virtualization, mobility and “green” IT .
The EMEA Future of Computing tour will visit 35 cities. Visitors have the opportunity to participate in a feedback survey. In exchange for filling in the survey, Dell will plant a tree in Poland. This way, clients compensate the Co2 emission that is necessary for the system’s electricity in their own organization.
Customer attendees include IT administrators, managers and directors from large enterprises, small and medium-sized business as well as channel partners. Attendees will participate in a range of sessions including:
. Keynotes – Presentations will explore future technology and market trends, particularly in areas on IT complexity, virtualization, mobility and “Green IT” and illustrate how Dell is simplifying IT within those areas.
. Product Demonstrations – Customers will have the opportunity to touch and feel the latest Dell Enterprise and Client Relationship products, including LatitudeT laptops and PowerEdgeT servers, and watch demonstrations of Dell’s services and solutions
. Customer Testimonials – Dell customers will share important experiences and best practices for overcoming IT complexity in today’s challenging environment.
. Q&A Sessions and Workshops – Receive product, service and solution knowledge from and engage with Dell global and local product specialists and subject matter experts.
“Not only is The Future of Computing Tour a forum for customers to engage with and learn about Dell’s newest and upcoming products, services and solutions,” said Emmanuel Manouquet, Managing Director, Dell Belgium. “But also an opportunity to discuss and debate key business issues in EMEA. In discussing these issues, Dell will illustrate how it can provide strategies and best practices for simplification in today and tomorrow’s IT environments.”
