BT announced on March, 18th, a five-year, $120 million deal to deliver network and telecommunications services across brewing giant SABMiller’s Latin America and Europe regions, including global data centre connectivity.

BT will provide and manage the company’s communications and networked IT Services needs in Latin America (Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras and Panama), Europe (UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Romania, & Hungary) and global connectivity services into North America, South Africa, and Hong Kong.

SABMiller is one of the world’s largest brewers with brewing interests and distribution agreements across six continents. The company owns more than 200 brands including international premium brands Grolsch, Miller Genuine Draft, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Pilsner Urquell and leading regional brands such as Aguila (Colombia), Castle (Africa), Miller Lite (USA), Snow (China) and Tyskie (Poland). SABMiller is also one of the largest bottlers of Coca-Cola products in the world. Their markets range from developed economies such as the USA to fast-growing developing markets such as China and India.

Its principal activities include the provision of managed networked IT services globally; local, national and international telecommunications services to its customers for use at home, at work and on the move; broadband and internet products and services and converged fixed/mobile products and services.
