Banca Fideuram, the Italian private bank, is live with a new advisor platform based on Finantix’s components, of Finantix, a global provider of component-based, front-office solutions. With Finantix’s technology, Fideuram benefits from an innovative financial planning platform which provides advisors with an integrated view of customers’ portfolios and financial needs. This enables them to provide truly customised advice and to comply with MiFID’s requirements.

Banca Fideuram is part of Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo, services around 650,000 customers, has over €65 billion of assets under management and specialises in managing financial products, exclusively distributed by its network of over 4,300 financial advisors.

Alessandro Tonchia, strategy director, Finantix comments: “To compete effectively in the private banking and affluent sectors, banks must construct financial plans based on advice rather than products. Not only this enhances the customer relationship, but it has now become mandatory in order to comply with MiFID’s best executions requirements. With our pedigree in the wealth management sector, we have helped Banca Fideuram to gain customer insight, optimise service levels and engage in meaningful dialogue with its customers.”

Finantix’s technology includes functionality for branch innovation, advice-led selling, CRM, lending and wealth management. This offering gives financial institutions new levels of visibility into customer behaviour and habits. As a result, they can optimise service levels and create a meaningful dialogue with customers. Its extensive component library can slot into legacy systems, unlocking potential sales opportunities at every touch point via a personalised advisory process. Financial institutions are able to configure the components to match different retail strategies and types of customers, quickly supporting new sales and customer service channels.

Finantix component-based front-office retail solutions serve over 50 banks in 19 countries worldwide. With over 100 developers, Finantix invests some 30% of revenues in R&D.
