A new generation of leadership to steer the firm into its next phase of governance excellence
The Directors’ Office appoints new Lead and Deputy Lead Partners
December 19, 2025

The Directors’ Office, a leading partnership of independent directors has announced the appointment of Nathalie Dogniez as Lead Partner and Riccardo del Tufo as Deputy Lead Partner as of the 1st of January 2026.
They succeed Paul de Quant, outgoing Lead Partner, and Sheenagh Gordon-Hart, whose mandates conclude at year-end. This leadership transition marks an important milestone as it continues to strengthen its position as a reference platform for independent directors and trusted governance partner to boards across the financial and corporate sectors.
Reflecting on his mandate, Paul de Quant commented:
“As 2025 comes to an end, so too does my term as Lead Partner of The Directors’ Office. Over the past three years, together with a highly committed group of partners, we have reinforced our governance standards, invested significantly in IT and data security, expanded our partnership and relocated to modern premises in the heart of Cloche d’Or. These achievements have strengthened our ability to meet the highest expectations of our clients.
It has been a privilege to lead the firm during a period of transformation, and I am delighted to pass the baton to Nathalie Dogniez, supported by Riccardo del Tufo. I am confident that, under their leadership, The Directors’ Office will continue to thrive and further enhance its role at the forefront of governance excellence.”
A new leadership team for the next chapter
Commenting on her appointment, Nathalie Dogniez, incoming Lead Partner, said:
“I am honoured by the trust placed in me by my partners. The Directors’ Office has long represented the highest benchmark for independent directorship, and joining the partnership only reinforced my conviction that strong governance is best achieved through collective expertise, independence and collegiality.
Together with Riccardo and the wider partnership, my priority will be to build on the strong foundations, continue to attract the next generation of independent directors, and further strengthen our role as a long-term governance partner for boards navigating increasing complexity.”
Riccardo del Tufo, Deputy Lead Partner, added:
“The Directors’ Office is unique in its partnership model and its culture of excellence. I am pleased to support Nathalie in this new role and to contribute to the continued evolution as a leading voice in independent governance.”
