- Design and modifications of parts for plastics injection molding.
- Design of tools and stands for manufacturing and adjusting.
- Design of experimental prototypes.
- Interacting with manufacturing and other departments of the Company.
- Performance of other tasks assigned by the Business Manager.
Required skills and competence:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Good background in design and experience in practical realizations, intended for 3D printing, CNC, sheet metal, metal casting and injection molding production.
- Knowledge in a field of tooling design and manufacturing (for injection molding), plastic flow simulations, injection molding defects prediction.
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with technical documentation and shop drawings.
- Ability to design and assemble a simple prototype and experimental sample.
- Basic knowledge of optics and electronics.
- Basic knowledge of practices of mechanical interactions with electronics (PCBs, flat cables and similar).
- Proficiency in technical English.
- Be comfortable in multicultural working environment.
Will be a plus:
- Base knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Base knowledge of SolidWorks Simulation, Flow Simulation analysis.
