DESCRIPTION:COURSE OVERVIEW \nThis course provides those IT leaders\, practitioners and support staff who already hold the ITIL 4 foundation qualification with an understanding of how to integrate different value streams and activities to create\, deliver and support IT-enabled products and services\, and relevant practices\, methods and tools. It gives them an understanding of service performance\, service quality and improvement methods. The course is based on the ITIL 4 best practice service value system featured in the latest 2019 guidelines. \n  \nTarget Audience\n• Individuals continuing their journey in service management\n• ITSM managers and aspiring ITSM managers\n• ITSM practitioners managing the operation of IT-enabled & digital products and services\, and those responsible for the end-to-end delivery  \n  \nCOURSE OBJECTIVES \nThe course will help students to understand:\n• Understand how to plan and build a service value stream to create\, deliver and support services\n• Know how relevant ITIL 4 practices contribute to creation\, delivery and support across the SVS and value streams\n• Know how to create\, deliver and support services\n• Preparation to sit the ITIL 4 Create\, Deliver\, Support examination \n  \nCOURSE PREREQUISITES \nCandidates must hold the ITIL 4 foundation certificate \n  \nCOURSE CONTENT \nUnderstand the concepts and challenges relating to the following across the service value system:\n• Organisational structure\n• Integrated/collaborative teams\n• Team capabilities\, roles\, competencies\n• Team culture and differences\n• Working to a customer-orientated mindset\n• Employee satisfaction management\n• The value of positive communications \nUnderstand how to use a ‘shift left’ approach \nKnow how to plan and manage resources in the service value system:\n• Team collaboration and integration\n• Workforce planning\n• Results based measuring and reporting\n• The culture of continual improvement \nUnderstand the use and value of information and technology across the service value system:\n• Integrated service management toolsets\n• Integration and data sharing\n• Reporting and advanced analytics\n• Collaboration and workflow\n• Robotic process automation (RPA)\n• Artificial intelligence and machine learning\n• Continuous integration and delivery/deployment (CI/CD)\n• Information models \nKnow how to use a value stream to design\, develop and transition new services \nKnow how the following ITIL practices contribute to a value stream for a new service:\n• Service design\n• Software development and Management\n• Deployment management\n• Release management\n• Service Validation and testing\n• Change Enablement \nKnow how to use a value stream to provide user support \nKnow how the following ITIL practices contribute to a value stream for user support:\n• Service desk\n• Incident management\n• Problem management\n• Knowledge management\n• Service level management\n• Monitoring and event management \nKnow how to co-ordinate\, prioritize and structure work and activities to create deliver and support services\, including:\n• Managing queues and backlogs\n• Prioritizing work\n• Understand the use and value of the following across the service value system:\n• Buy vs build considerations\n• Sourcing options\n• Service integration and management (SIAM) \n  \nTEST CERTIFICATION \n90 minutes\, 40 multiple choice questions. Pass mark 28/40 – 70% \nThe exam is included in the course fee.
