On Thursday, April 23, 2026, ILNAS will organize a training session titled “Quantum technologies and technical standardization,” aimed at describing the fundamental concepts of quantum technologies and presenting the role of technical standardization and relevant standards in this field.

Quantum technologies are rapidly expanding, promising to revolutionize not only the computing industry but also many other sectors. As these technologies become more mature and gain wider adoption, technical standardization plays a key role in accelerating knowledge dissemination and industrial application. In this context, various standardization initiatives are emerging at the European and international levels.

This “Quantum technologies and technical standardization” training provides an overview of quantum technologies, highlighting current challenges and ongoing standardization projects in the field.
